Matt and Meg McTaggart, husband and wife, started Steelhead in April 2015. Since then, the business has grown from a box in, box out supply of smoked trout to a multi-faceted packing and processing house, distributor, wholesaler, and retailer who offers a full line of fresh, smoked, live, and/or frozen fish and seafood to wholesale and retail customers alike!

Steelhead is proud to provide a premium line of fish and seafood products that are sourced from as 'close to home' as possible! While a huge number of products are sourced from wild fisheries, pride is also taken in sourcing sustainably farmed fish and seafood from Canada and beyond. Whenever possible, fish is cut in-house in order to provide customers with the freshest product available!

Steelhead utilizes its own distribution fleet for a number of bi-weekly routes supplying restaurants, golf courses, caterers, grocery chains, food distributors, etc!

Our satellite location is located in the heart of Port Stanley and is as nautical as it gets. Customers can witness the boat coming into dock across the street while they shop for a true lake-to-table experience!
